Monitor calibration

To calibrate your monitor you should be able to see all 11 shades of gray

First, turn your contrast control all the way up.

Then adjust your brightness control so you can see all 11 shades

from pure black to pure white.

Look for the words below "can you see this?"

If you can you are spot on!

It also helps if the lights are down to where you monitor is the brightest thing.

Most computer monitors have a default color tempeture of 9500K . This is way to blue. You need to find where the controls for you monitor settings are. Go to the color settings and change them to 6500K or as close to that as possible.
